Our Mission

Our mission is to serve as an extension of the home by assisting parents in the moral, spiritual, and academic training of their children.

Our Philosophy of Education

Christian Family Cooperative offers a unique and effective approach to education which blends the concept of home schooling with a traditional Christian education. Together, the classroom teacher and the teacher at home can provide the opportunity for the student to grow and learn under the best conditions. Since you, as a parent, have an intimate knowledge of your child’s specific needs and the ability to work with your child one-on-one, you can be your child’s most effective teacher at home. The classroom teacher also serves an important role by providing a structured approach to learning, making sure all the basics are covered, and providing objective feedback on the student’s progress. By combining our strengths together, we can provide the best possible education for your child.

Students are required to complete 12 hours of school on-campus under the direction of the classroom teacher and 12 hours of school off-campus under the direction of the parent co-teacher.  The schedule for on-campus learning is Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from approximately 8:30am to 12:30pm. Tuesdays and Fridays are Home Study Days.

Our shortened classroom day allows the student the freedom to pursue special interests, to develop in areas where they are gifted, to enhance the enjoyment of family life, and to enjoy learning in different settings whether in the back yard, on the living room sofa, or on a field trip. We desire to instill within our students a lifestyle of learning and to provide the best possible conditions to learn and grow.

Our Philosophy of Excellence

Proverbs 4:7 states: “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom.” Excellence is produced not only by knowledge and skills alone but by combining these things with wisdom and character. By training our children in the ways of Wisdom, we will equip our children to serve the Lord Jesus Christ with excellence in what he has purposed for them.

“And these words shall be in thine heart; and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children.” —  Deuteronomy 6:6-7
